Frankenstein AI

Developed and produced in collaboration with the Columbia University School of the Arts’ Digital Storytelling Lab, Frankenstein AI: a monster made by many is a creative system– a network of projects around a central narrative – designed to provoke exploration around possible shared futures for artificial intelligence.

For instance at the Sundance Film Festival, Frankenstein AI was staged as a three part immersive installation. The experience made use of AI, physical controllers, the Internet of Things, touch screens and projection mapping.

After receiving a commission from the National Theatre’s Immersive Storytelling Studio and IDFA doc lab, Frankenstein AI mutated into a dinner party hosted by an AI.

Next up for the project are a series of virtual and physical dinner parties.
